Job Description

The Role:

  • Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that foster creativity artistic expression and an appreciation for different art forms and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media and styles including painting drawing sculpture and digital art.
  • Encourage students to explore their artistic talents and develop their own unique styles providing guidance and support in their creative journeys.
  • Play an active role in the schools extracurricular programme leading art clubs organizing exhibitions and supporting students in their artistic pursuits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Art education.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of art history theory and practice with experience in a range of artistic media and techniques.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the schools Catholic ethos and values.
