Job Description

Explore Faith and Ethics in the Heart of London

  • FullTime Permanent
  • Start Date: January 2025

The Role:

  • Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that explore the Christian faith other world religions and philosophical and ethical issues.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Religious Studies curriculum that promotes critical thinking reflection and spiritual growth.
  • Play an active role in the schools Christian ethos supporting students in their spiritual development and encouraging them to live out their faith in their daily lives.
  • Contribute to the schools pastoral care system providing guidance and support to students and working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure the wellbeing of all students.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a good understanding of Christian theology scripture and tradition.
  • Be passionate about Religious Studies education and have a genuine commitment to fostering students spiritual and moral development.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the schools Christian ethos and values.
