Job Description
Open Up a World of Language and Culture
- FullTime Permanent
- Start Date: January 2025
The School:

The Role:
- Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that foster a love of language and culture and develop students communication skills.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching French curriculum that promotes language acquisition cultural understanding and communicative competence.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources including interactive technology authentic materials and cultural activities to create a stimulating and immersive learning experience.
- Play an active role in the schools extracurricular programme organizing language clubs cultural events and exchange trips.
- Contribute to the schools pastoral care system supporting students wellbeing and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Modern Foreign Languages education.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in French with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of French language and culture.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the schools ethos and values.
