Job Description
Position: Senior Manager Finance & Accounts
Location: Navi Mumbai
Reports to: CFO and Directors
Experience Level: 810 years in finance & accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Education:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
Industry Preference: Manufacturing
Salary: Competitive as per industry standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the budgeting forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Develop and track financial KPIs providing regular reports to the executive team.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow banking relationships.
- Develop cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with loan agreements and manage debt obligations if any.
- Ensuring appropriate management of forex accounting and compliance.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all financial tax and regulatory requirements.
- Work with auditors and regulatory authorities for audits assessments and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead mentor and develop the Finance and Accounts team to build capabilities and enhance productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting practices processes and systems.
- Foster a collaborative work environment ensuring effective communication across departments in the company.
- Strategic Projects and System Improvements:
- Lead special projects and financial initiatives to support business growth M&A activities or new market expansion.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting.
Qualifications:
- Education:Qualified CA.
- Experience: 810 years of experience in finance and accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial planning and analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Attributes: Excellent leadership communication and analytical skills; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure; strategic mindset.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Manufacturing Companies.
- Strong background in corporate finance risk management and regulatory compliance.
