Job Description

About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer within the Process Development Team you will be at the forefront of advancing manufacturing and assembly lines for key components in the automotive industry including highvoltage batteries electric motors and inverters. This role plays a critical part in developing lean sustainable and innovative manufacturing processes to meet the high standards of the automotive sector. Your Responsibilities
In this position you will design and define process solutions for both station and line levels including the integration of equipment with logistics solutions. Key tasks include:

  • Planning and balancing manual and automated work based on accurate time estimations.
  • Conducting Process FMEAs to support efficient global manufacturing solutions in the automotive space.
  • Utilizing process technologies such as laser welding arc welding friction stir welding and more key to automotive manufacturing.
  • Creating virtual manufacturing setups with tools such as Siemens Process Simulate NX Design Teamcenter and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborating with a central team that defines process solutions aligned with global product programs within the automotive and electrification sectors.

Your Background

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in an engineering field.
  • Skilled in workstation design and joining methods (e.g. laser welding friction stir welding gluing).
  • Experience in both product and process development with a focus on automated processes in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in virtual manufacturing tools like Siemens Process Simulate NX Design Teamcenter and AutoCAD.
