Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and enhance a highperformance data infrastructure. In this role you will drive best practices and lead innovation in data architecture.
The scale is impressivejust one of their data warehouse tables processes over 50 billion data points each month with volumes continuing to grow.
Workflows are primarily built in Python and SQL orchestrated with Luigi Docker and Kubernetes within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will work closely with multiple teams managing commercial financial and productrelated data to promote a unified data architecture. Metrics such as video performance impressions and data transfer efficiency help track product success and may ultimately contribute to reducing customers carbon footprints.
We are looking for:
- Someone who enjoys handson work staying close to the code and appreciates seeing direct results from their efforts.
- A leader who can develop and support a growing data team including Data Analysts and Data Engineers.
- A mentor who can guide other members of the data team.
- Someone responsible for technical decisions and prioritization moving forward.
- Ownership over diverse data projects including AI/ML implementations.
- Maintaining optimizing and scaling existing data pipelines to meet evolving business needs.
- Effective collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment between data strategies and business objectives.
Your Profile (Musthave requirements)
Relevant education with a degree in engineering or similar
5 years of experience as an ML Engineer Data Scientist Data Engineer or similar positions
Experience in modern tools for data collection and aggregation
Extensive experience with Python and SQL in data engineering contexts
Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
Proven track record working with big data technologies and highvolume realtime data processing
Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
Ability to balance maintenance of existing systems with innovation and improvement
Professional language proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience in deploying models to production environments
Knowledge of model serving and monitoring in production
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written Swedish
