We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Records Clerk to join our
team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate
records managing files and providing exceptional customer service.
This role requires proficiency in data entry and strong communication
skills as well as the ability to handle various office management tasks
efficiently.
Tasks
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and organize physical and electronic files to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Utilize office management skills to maintain an efficient workflow within the department.
- Provide customer service support by answering inquiries and assisting clients with their requests.
- Handle calendar management tasks scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings as needed.
- Operate phone systems effectively to communicate with team members and clients.
- Proofread documents for accuracy before filing or distribution.
- Assist in the training of new staff on office procedures and record management practices.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is a plus.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry with strong typing skills is essential.
- Familiarity with computerized record management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in customer service roles will be beneficial for effective communication with clients.
- Knowledge of office management practices including file organization and document handling is advantageous.
