Tasks
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to family law including divorce child custody and financial settlements.
- Prepare and review legal documents such as agreements affidavits and court pleadings while ensuring compliance with relevant legal standards and client requirements.
- Conduct thorough research on case law statutes and legal precedents to support case strategies and ensure informed decisionmaking.
- Negotiate and mediate disputes between parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while minimizing the need for litigation.
- Attend court hearings and proceedings to advocate on behalf of clients presenting evidence and arguments effectively to judges and other legal professionals.
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Family Law.
- Proven experience handling diverse and complex family law cases including divorce child custody and financial settlements.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively advocate for clients.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining confidentiality.
