The Tax Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization by managing and overseeing various taxrelated responsibilities. This position is based in Edenvale Gauteng and requires a detailoriented professional who can ensure compliance with all tax regulations and optimize tax positions. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance and accounting teams bringing expertise in tax law and regulations to facilitate effective tax planning and preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file all federal state and local tax returns in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update tax records and documentation accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct tax research to stay updated with changing regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Work with external auditors during tax audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to facilitate seamless financial operations.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficient tax planning.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and resolve taxrelated issues.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Proven experience in tax administration or relevant finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
