2.Conceptualising and planning projects
3.Biding for tenders
4.Understanding government procedures
5. Dealing with consultants (design)
6.Dispute resolution and setting up new companies.
7. Directly oversee all aspects of construction operations including project management site operations procurement logistics and quality control. Ensure that projects are completed on time within budget and according to specifications.
8.Manage the financial aspects of construction projects including budgeting forecasting cost control and financial reporting. Monitor project costs and profitability identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
9.Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects including safety risks regulatory compliance environmental concerns and financial risks. Implement strategies to minimize risk exposure and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
10. Lead efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector. Develop relationships with clients contractors suppliers and other key stakeholders to expand the company's presence and market share.
11. Stay abreast of advancements in construction technology and innovation and evaluate their potential impact on the company's operations. Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency productivity and quality in construction processes.
12. Recruit develop and retain top talent for the construction vertical. Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to employees fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
13. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to construction projects. Communicate effectively with senior management shareholders clients regulatory authorities and community members to ensure transparency and alignment of objectives.
14. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the construction vertical and regularly assess performance against these metrics. Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deviations from targets and drive continuous improvement.
