Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Backend Developer you will play a key role in the design development and maintenance of robust scalable backend solutions for our applications. You will be working primarily with Laravel NodeJS and GraphQL alongside cloud services like AWS. You will collaborate with frontend developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver highquality solutions.
- Backend Development: Design and implement efficient reusable and reliable code in Laravel for core features and backend services.
- API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs GraphQL services and integrations with thirdparty systems.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS to deploy scale and monitor backend systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases ensuring data integrity performance optimization and scalability.
- Version Control: Use GitHub for code versioning collaborative development and code reviews.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with backend logic. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Maintainability & Performance: Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance ensuring a high standard of code quality scalability and security.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems and APIs.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in backend development using Laravel.
- Proficiency in Node.js with experience building scalable and performant serverside applications.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL and experience building querying and optimizing GraphQL APIs.
- Handson experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS Lambda) for cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
- Experience working with XML for parsing integration and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB).
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development and API design.
