A Leading Manufacturing industry is looking for experienced candidate in endtoend payroll process for our employees ensuring that all payroll activities are carried out efficiently and accurately. You will collaborate with various departments to collect and verify payroll data process payments and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will also handle payroll inquiries and resolve any issues related to employee compensation.
Payroll Processing:- Prepare and process monthly/weekly payrolls for all employees ensuring accuracy in salary deductions and benefits.
- Calculate and verify overtime bonuses commissions and other variable pay.
- Process and track employee leave (e.g. sick leave vacation days) and ensure it is reflected in payroll.
Compliance & Reporting:- Ensure compliance with all tax laws labor regulations and statutory requirements (e.g. Provident Fund Social Security Income Tax).
- Prepare and submit tax filings statutory reports and yearend reports related to payroll.
- Assist in internal and external audits and prepare relevant payroll reports.
Employee Queries & Support:- Respond to payrollrelated inquiries from employees and resolve issues related to payments benefits and deductions.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll information and employee records.
System Maintenance & Accuracy:- Maintain accurate payroll records and data within the payroll system (HRIS/Payroll Software).
- Support the integration of any new payrollrelated software or system updates.
- Continuously monitor and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Education:- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
Experience:- Minimum of X years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Experience with payroll software/systems (e.g. SAP ADP Paychex) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of local labor laws taxation and social security regulations.
Skills:- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to employee queries professionally.
