Solution Architect
Location: Belgium (Remote work possible 2 days onsite 3 flexible days
Contract Type: 1year contract (with potential extension)
Position Overview: We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead architectural design within a largescale global environment focusing on claims and document/content management systems. The role requires collaborating closely with technical and business teams to ensure solutions align with both IT infrastructure and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable robust architectures that meet the needs of a large financial organization.
- Work as part of a team of 5 Solution Architects directly engaging with development teams and crossfunctional stakeholders.
Requirements
Objectives:
- Develop solutions that meet both business requirements and IT constraints.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration across various infrastructures.
- Adapt solutions for a global enterpriselevel environment emphasizing security scalability and performance.
Required Qualifications:
Languages:
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in either French or Dutch is required.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large company preferably in the financial or insurance sector.
- Proficiency in .NET and COBOL is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to bridge business and IT needs translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Comfortable working with and interacting across different infrastructure layers.
Candidate Profile:
- 5 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect ideally at a mediumtosenior level.
- A proactive approach able to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
