Job Description
Job Title DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Location Remote
Experience 6 12 Years
Requirements:
- Design deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using AWS best practices with a focus on scalability reliability and security.
- Utilize AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automating the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline DevOps processes and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines automate deployments and ensure consistent integration across environments.
- Proactively monitor system health troubleshoot issues and improve system resilience to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement robust configuration management to maintain consistency across multiple environments.
- Adhere to security best practices including data encryption identity and access management and network security within AWS environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Handson experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for IaC.
- Indepth knowledge of core AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS VPC Lambda IAM and networking fundamentals.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and logging (e.g. CloudWatch ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of best practices in AWS networking security and access management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with other IaC tools and methods including AWS CDK.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a remote or distributed team.
