Job Description
As a Social Media Specialist you ll play a pivotal role in elevating our clients online presence across multiple platforms. You ll be responsible for editing captivating shortform videos crafting engaging captions and managing social media accounts for diverse businesses. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity hone your video editing skills and develop strategic social media campaigns that drive meaningful interactions and build brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Edit and optimize video content for multiple social media platforms focusing on shortform videos (90 seconds or less)
- Create and schedule daily posts across various client accounts on Instagram Facebook LinkedIn and YouTube
- Craft compelling captions that resonate with each client s target audience
- Manage and respond to comments messages and interactions across social platforms
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective social media strategies for different industries
- Monitor social media trends and adapt content accordingly
- Assist in expanding social media presence to new platforms like TikTok
- Track and report on social media performance metrics
Requirements
- 23 years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Proficiency in video editing software with a focus on creating engaging shortform content
- Strong writing skills for crafting captivating captions and social media copy
- Indepth knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram Facebook LinkedIn YouTube)
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in English
- Adaptability to work with various industries and adjust content accordingly
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Willingness to use a VPN when necessary for account access
- Availability to work Monday through Friday 9 AM to 1 PM Eastern Standard Time
