In this role you will be responsible for managing the inventory of our convenience stores ensuring accurate tracking efficient storage and optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles proficiency in inventory tracking systems and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all products and merchandise in the inventory management system.
Monitor inventory levels across multiple store locations identifying potential shortages or excesses.
Collaborate with store managers to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
Process incoming and outgoing shipments of inventory ensuring proper documentation and verification.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste spoilage and shrinkage.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts.
Generate reports on inventory levels turnover and other relevant metrics.
Stay informed about industry best practices in inventory management for convenience stores.
01 years of experience in inventory management preferably in the retail industry.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Full Time
