Position: Project Engineer Boiler Control Systems

The Project Engineer for Boiler Control Systems will lead the definition design and implementation of control systems for various boiler types across industries. Depending on the candidate s interests and abilities a hybrid role incorporating business development could be explored.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple boiler control system projects primarily utilizing Rockwell Automation control platforms.
- Analyze customer requirements to develop system architecture control strategies and network design.
- Oversee the hardware design for control system cabinets and panels.
- Develop PLC and HMI application programs.
- Lead integrated system testing and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities.
- Serve as the main technical contact for clients and foster longterm customer relationships.
- Ensure system hardware and software meet customer specifications and comply with NFPA 85 and other industry standards.
- Conduct site visits for project meetings and system commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Boiler Control System Engineering.
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in implementing boiler control systems (BMS & Combustion Control) using PLC or DCS platforms.
- Proven experience in commissioning startup and tuning of boiler control systems.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 25% travel for client meetings and system commissioning.
Qualifications 3+ years (s) of experience with PLC programming and HMI Programming Allen Bradly PLC's. Understanding electrical/controls circuitry and schematics. Experience with AutoCAD Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
