Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude problemsolving skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient facility environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems plumbing fixtures electrical equipment and other facility components.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes lubrication and minor repairs.
- Identify and address potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
- Reactive Maintenance:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and plumbing issues.
- Perform repairs and replacements as needed.
- Facility Improvements:
- Assist with facility improvement projects including renovations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with contractors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards identified.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Energy Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Implement energysaving measures as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
- Strong mechanical electrical and plumbing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Valid drivers license.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certification.
- Electrical license.
- Plumbing license.
- Experience with building automation systems.
