Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team! This individual will be responsible for safely performing daily pick up and delivery of goods and parts to vendors and customers using Company truck.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with the job and Company policy.
- Using appropriate material handling equipment loads and unloads delivery truck.
- Prioritizes pick ups and deliveries after referring to assignments on Daily Carrier Log.
- Plans route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
- Safely operates truck for the delivery pickup and relocation of products and materials.
- Communicates with department periodically throughout the day to ensure prompt and efficient
deliveries.
- Maintains proper customer and supplier relations.
- Schedules and assures proper preventive maintenance and repairs of truck.
- Trains backup drivers.
- Performs additional duties as directed by the Supervisor and assists in the Shipping Department as needed.
Qualifications:
- One year truck driving experience.
- CDL Class B license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate tow motor fork lift.
- Fork lift certification.
- Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience:
- 12 years related experience or training.
Hours:
- Full Time 40 hours per week
- Monday Friday
