Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Report to Project Director and Group General Manager.
  • This role will be responsible to handle and monitor PreContract and Post Contract for projects that has been assigned by Superior.
  • Must be able to lead and carry out feasibility study independently and competently for mixed development by providing input during project planning and design phases to ensure costeffective and feasible projects to be undertaken by the company.
  • Cost planning and control for project estimation of costs the setting of an agreed budget and management of actual and forecast costs against that budget from predevelopment till completion.
  • To prepare check and comment on the costing in the feasibility studies. To carry out measurement and taking off from drawings and prepare cost estimate.
  • To spearhead the whole process of tendering exercise involving of vetting through documentation invitation of tenders closing of tenders including the evaluation of tenders and preparation for award.
  • To involve actively in the cost control of projects adopting value engineering for alternatives by liaising with relevant departments and consultant include ensuring submission of periodic financial statement checking of variation claims and final account.
  • Contracts administration includes reporting on all contractual and financial matters encountered on all project and attending Client Consultant/Project meetings when necessary.
  • To prepare project budgetary control.
  • To monitor and timely process of Consultants SubContractors and Suppliers progress payment with accuracy.
  • To work closely with project team suppliers subcontractors consultants during construction/implementation phase.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior.

Job Requirements

  • At least Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in the construction industry and property development ideally with involvement in all stages of a projects lifecycle from pre development tendering to handover (Completed a whole project cycle).
  • Be able to handle feasibility studies/report from zero comfortably and independently with accuracy and speed.
  • Proficient with numbers ie Cost planning and control and Project Financing.
  • Solid technical knowledge in property development construction and contract administration.
  • Good interpersonal analytical and organizational skills including able to work independently and results orientated.
  • Skillful in critical thinking problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
  • Able to work under tight schedules to meet datelines.
  • Ability to work independently & attention to details.
  • An excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.

Remuneration

  • RM 10000 RM 17000

  • MYR 350 Travelling Allowance Per Month
  • Parking will be provided
  • MYR 150 Mobile Claim Per Month
  • MYR 3500 Medical Claim Per Annum
  • Bonus at the discretion of the company

  • 15 Days of AL Per Full Year of Service
  • Outstation Allowance MYR 100 / Day
  • Overseas Allowance MYR 200 / Day
