Job Title: Anatomic Pathology Consultant

An Excellent opportunity to join as an Anatomic Pathology Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top tier leading Hospital in Jeddah Saudi Arabia

JOB SUMMARY

As an anatomical pathology consultant at a toptier hospital in Saudi Arabia you would be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of tissue specimens utilizing advanced histopathological techniques and ancillary studies to provide accurate and timely diagnoses. Collaborating closely with clinical teams to ensure accurate interpretation of pathology findings contributing to the development of tailored treatment plans for patients Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the pathology department ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform detailed examinations of surgical specimens biopsies and cytology samples to establish diagnoses.
  • Interpret and report on pathological findings ensuring clarity and accuracy in diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to discuss cases providing expert consultations on pathologyrelated matters.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior pathologists and laboratory staff.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of anatomic pathology and participate in continuing education.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and publish findings in scientific journals if applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations to maintain highquality services.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospitalrelated policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or Subspecialty
  • American Board/MRCPCHIrish UK Canadian Australian & New Zealand /DES/CIS/ Diplome di Medico Specialist Italy / SCR Holland/Swedish Board/ German Fachartz/Austrian Fachartz/CCST UK/Saudi Board/ Arab Board & sub board/ Fellowship
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Min. 34 years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References

  • Positive professional references attest to the candidates skills and ethical conduct.
