Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Co. Louth
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. You will assist with daytoday financial operations including invoice processing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track invoices payments and expenses.
- Assist in maintaining accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support monthend and yearend close processes.
- Assist in preparing financial documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Experience working in insurance roles or similar previously would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Irish tax and accounting regulations is a plus.
Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Accounting Finance or a related field will be advantageous.
