Job brief
The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise/solutions on the development maintenance and support of business application system products that are currently used within the Bank in accordance with the established standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provides systems development support for moderately to highly complex technology enabled solutions to business opportunity/problems.
- Analyzes business requirements designs codes tests and implements business application components of assigned projects within the current operational environment and ensure performance levels meet established Service Level Agreements
- Conduct gap analysis of identified environments against documented policies standards guidelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis on issues/deficiencies identified
- Document current state processes where applicable document approved updated processes
- Execute approved action plans to close gaps identified and/or monitor followup and report on the execution of the approved action plans by
identified resources to closure
- Follow up with IT specialists and consultants on progress on deliverables
- Follow up with vendors on troubleshooting of issues
related to Information Security
- The analysis of IT controls related documentation
- The provision of technical expertise on risks and the required controls associated with information security systems where applicable.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology.
- 3 years of proven excellence.
- Comparable knowledge of Banking systems and operations
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills
