Provide specialized wound care treatment to patients in a medical office or clinical setting.
Assess and evaluate wounds to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
Clean and dress wounds using sterile techniques.
Monitor and document wound healing progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs.
Administer medications and perform procedures such as dermal fillers spinal taps and phlebotomies as required.
Provide care for patients of all ages including infants toddlers and adults.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Experience:
Must be a Nurse Practitioner
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse with graphs.
Proficiency in wound assessment treatment and documentation.
Knowledge of different wound types and appropriate interventions.
Familiarity with the use of specialized wound care products and equipment.
Experience working in a medical office hospital or assisted living facility preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients families and healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of clinical research related to wound care is a plus.
Willing to get trained and open to learning
