Our client is a reputable advisory boutique in Kazakhstan serving some of the most prominent local and international clients in M&A and portfolio company management.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in M&A and Debt Advisory transactions from inception to completion including buyside sellside joint ventures venture capital and private equity investments.
- Develop and assess financial models.
- Conduct business valuations financial analyses comparable analysis and benchmarking.
- Prepare presentations teasers information memoranda and analytical reports for clients.
- Conduct market analysis strategy development and competitive analysis.
- Engage in negotiations and client interactions at all stages of the deal.
- Collaborate with the Investment Director and partners to achieve strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Higher education in finance or economics from a toptier university; CFA certification is a plus.
- 14 years of relevant experience in M&A corporate finance and valuation within investment banks inhouse M&A teams private equity or venture capital firms or Big 4.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and business valuation.
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling and business assessment (proficiency in Excel PowerPoint financial databases).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced multitasking environment with tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Russian is essential; knowledge of Kazakh is advantageous.
- International experience is a plus.
Location and Compensation:
- Fulltime position based in Astana Kazakhstan.
