Organize and manage the team to ensure that the Bank s Capital (equity) is effectively and efficiently used in line with the Bank s risk appetite and capital management guidelines.
Provide an oversight of the Bank s Lending portfolio through the evaluation of and improvement of returns vis vis the assumed risks identify manage and report concentration and portfolio risks.
Provide overall guidance leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the Signature Bank s strategy.
Oversee development of the Finance Department s overall budget and strategic plans.
Demonstrate sound judgement in risk appetite while bearing in mind Signature Bank s development mandate.
In coordination with the CFO oversees the preparation and review of annual department budgets business plans and performance measures. This includes developing and enforcing a schedule for accounting staff and relevant department leads across the bank.
Monitors department budgets through periodic review of financial and other related management reports.
Collaborates with the other department budget managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
Analyse and monitors department expenditures and revenues; research ways to reduce costs and maximize reimbursement for services provided; serves as a liaison for various personnel budget and other financial issues
Requirements
Minimum educational level: BSc in Accounting / Banking & Finance
Recognized Professional Accounting Certification.
MSC/MBA is and added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years experience in Finance & Performance Management role in the financial services industry.
