Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Trainer to join our team for a client that is selfmedicating. The Nurse Trainer will be responsible for providing training and education to staff ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver highquality Client care.
A little bit about the client 32yearold female who lives in her own apartment with staff support she also works parttime and attends college.
Duties
Develop and implement training programs for staff on various protocols
Conduct handson training sessions to demonstrate best practices in clients needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in medical practices to incorporate into training sessions
Collaborate with guardians and healthcare professionals to enhance the overall quality of patient care
Qualifications
Current NH RN License with a minimum of 2 years RN experience within the last 5 years.
NH Approved Nurse Trainer Certification (1201) OR successful completion of the NH nurse trainer program within 2 months of hire
Acceptable Criminal History driving history and other background checks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train effectively and mentor staff
Previous experience as a nurse educator or trainer is a plus
Previous experience working with clients with multiple diagnosis that includes mental health diagnosis as well is a plus
Experience around diabetes and insulin pump is a plus as well although she does all of this independently as well
Knowledge of 404 and 1201 regulations is beneficial to this position.
This is a contracted position as an independent contractor. Liability insurance will be required.
