- Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs including purchasing inventory and wastage. Prepare regular reports on cost trends and variances.
- Oversee inventory control processes including stock counts and ordering procedures.
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure quality products and services.
- Collaborate with chefs and management to analyze menu pricing and profitability.
- Recommend adjustments based on cost analysis.
- Train and educate staff on cost control practices including portion control and waste reduction techniques.
- Prepare financial reports for management that include profitability analysis cost breakdowns and operational performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local health and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
