Job Description
Your Mission:
As a Maintenance Technician at Ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas your mission will be to ensure that all facilities are in perfect working order meeting deadlines (especially legal ones) and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both our guests and team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical plumbing HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems following an established maintenance plan.
- Management of External Companies: Coordinate and manage visits from external companies handling budgets scheduling and monitoring the work performed.
- Legal Deadlines Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with established deadlines particularly those that are legally required.
- Facility Inspections: Perform regular inspections of the hotel facilities identifying and resolving potential issues before they affect operations.
- Development and Control of Procedures: Develop and control maintenance procedures ensuring they are implemented effectively and comply with quality and safety standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks for the department including work documentation maintenance reports and inventory tracking.
- Budget Management: Oversee the departments budget ensuring proper control of expenses and identifying costsaving opportunities.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Energy Savings: Implement best practices for energy optimization within the hotels facilities.

- Budget Control and Management: You have experience controlling maintenance department expenses and managing budgets efficiently.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
Energy Efficiency Knowledge: You are aware of best practices for energy savings and know how to implement solutions that optimize energy consumption in the hotel facilities.
