Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Work with C-level executives and other internal stakeholders to craft a global Pay Per Click framework, taking into account Agoda’s strategic priorities
Work with the Product team to build the tools to execute and monitor pricing actions and to improve price display across all channels
Work with the Market Development team to collect price benchmarking data and intelligence from local markets, and to respond to moves from competitors and hotel partners
Design and deploy PPC campaign actions, balancing short term financial goals with the longer term strategic imperatives
Manage a multi-million dollar budget and provide visibility to internal stakeholders
Inspire and coach a team of analysts and campaign managers and expand it by hiring talent
Strategic Leadership:

Lead the marketing analytics strategy, defining the roadmap for data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive better marketing decisions and optimize marketing spend.
Work with senior leadership to define strategic KPIs, measure marketing effectiveness, and set goals for performance improvement across all marketing channels.
Own the development of the overall marketing measurement framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty strategies.
Data-Driven Insights:

Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of marketing data from various sources (e.g., digital platforms, CRM systems, sales data, etc.) to generate actionable insights.
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, conversion funnels, and marketing campaigns to identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and improved engagement.
Lead the creation of advanced predictive models, customer segmentation strategies, and personalization initiatives to drive marketing effectiveness and customer retention.


Desired candidate profile


Experience in articulating strategic issues and negotiating with C-level executives – experience in leading strategy consulting projects a plus
Excellent analytical skills – you really need to love data for this role
Ability to foster cooperation across teams and across nationalities
People management – track record of hiring and developing stars
P&L management
Entrepreneurial spirit, get-things-done attitude
Exposure to IT and Product Development – basic coding skills a plus
Strategic & Business Acumen:

Strong understanding of business metrics and KPIs to drive marketing performance and measure the ROI of marketing efforts.
Ability to connect data insights to business strategy, presenting data in a clear, actionable way that influences marketing and business decisions.
Knowledge of market research techniques to measure customer behavior, sentiment, and trends.
Expertise in marketing attribution and multi-touch attribution modeling to understand the impact of various marketing activities.
Leadership & Communication:

Strong leadership skills with experience in building, managing, and mentoring high-performing marketing analytics teams.
Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and effectively to senior leadership, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, finance, and technology teams to ensure analytics are aligned with organizational goals.
Proven experience in project management, managing multiple complex projects, and delivering on time.
