This is a remote position.
The Legal Analyst provides critical support in researching analyzing and interpreting laws regulations and legal precedents. The role involves assisting attorneys by preparing legal documents conducting thorough legal research and analyzing case law and statutes. The Legal Analyst works closely with legal teams to develop strategies ensure compliance and support litigation and transactional matters. The position requires a strong understanding of legal concepts excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research on case law statutes regulations and legal precedents relevant to ongoing cases and legal issues.
- Analyze and interpret complex legal documents including contracts agreements legislation and court rulings.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as memoranda briefs motions and contracts for review by attorneys.
- Monitor and analyze legal trends regulatory changes and court decisions that may impact clients or ongoing cases.
- Provide summaries of legal findings and present them clearly to attorneys and legal teams for use in litigation and transactional matters.
- Support litigation efforts by gathering and organizing relevant case information including evidence discovery materials and exhibits.
- Assist in the drafting and review of legal arguments for court proceedings hearings and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations by conducting regular reviews and audits of organizational policies and practices.
- Liaise with clients court personnel regulatory agencies and external legal counsel to gather and share information as needed.
- Track case progress and deadlines ensuring that all filings and documentation are submitted in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development of legal strategies by providing detailed research and analysis on specific legal issues.
- Maintain and update internal legal databases with case documents research materials and legal opinions.
- Stay current on relevant legal issues court rulings and regulatory changes to provide accurate and uptodate advice to legal teams.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance legal knowledge and stay informed of new developments in the legal field.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned to support attorneys and the legal department.
