Join our team as a Desktop Support Engineer in D sseldorf supporting an industryleading technology and defense client. In this role you will be responsible for managing Windows 11 upgrades and providing technical assistance onsite at the client s headquarters. This position offers stability with a minimum oneyear project commitment with annual renewals expected.
Responsibilities
- Perform Windows 11 upgrades and resolve associated technical issues
- Provide comprehensive support for Lenovo laptops desktops and other client hardware
- Manage Active Directory handle user accounts and perform device imaging
- Utilize SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for system updates and application deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve software hardware and network issues
- Maintain high service standards through clear and prompt communication
- Log and document support activities and resolutions
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience required: Previous experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar technical role
- Technical expertise: Familiarity with Lenovo devices Active Directory SCCM and imaging procedures
- Certificates preferred: CompTIA A CompTIA Network or equivalent certifications but handson experience is prioritized
- Essential requirements: Valid German passport and strong troubleshooting skills
- Languages: Proficiency in both German and English
