Senior Systems Analyst

• Provide highquality technical advice expertise and support in relation to critical agency applications and business systems.
  
• Lead the assessment analysis design development testing documentation and implementation of solutions to problems and requests for change in accordance with Departmental approved policies and processes.
  
• Determine and document business requirements and processes by working with key stakeholders to deliver improvements in information systems information management practices and procedures
  
• Plan and drive scoping requirement definitions and prioritisation activities for large complex initiatives and contribute to the definition of policies standards and guidelines for business system improvements.
  
• Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
  
• Participate in afterhours and oncall rosters as required while following defined service quality standards work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality safe services and workplaces.
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading coordinating and implementing systems development and configuration activities working knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks relevant to Digital systems.
  
• Welldeveloped knowledge of and proven experience in contemporary techniques concepts standards and processes appropriate for the development of Digital systems.
  
• Demonstrated experience coordinating change and release activities in an Digital systems development context.
  
• Demonstrated experience in planning scheduling and monitoring work to meet time and quality standards while balancing competing priorities.
  
• Highly skilled in the use of usual office tools such as Windows Word Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook (email) proficient in the use of JIRA Confluence and SharePoint or ability to quickly acquire.
  

• Recent or current experience working within a Clinical Systems Replacement Project and/or specific experience with setup and configuration of NT Health applications is considered an advantage.
  
• Experience and general familiarity with Health industry clinical terminology data and systems.
  
• Systems analysis and configuration experience of the InterSystems TrakCare product.
  

• High level oral written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  
• Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
