- Prepare review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in monthend and yearend closing processes including reconciling accounts and preparing necessary adjustments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions including invoicing processing payments and collections.
- Monitor and reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Monitor inventory transactions costs and variances related to the F&B or ice cream industry.
- Work with the supply chain team to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts analyzing variances to provide actionable insights.
- Support management in decisionmaking by providing financial analysis and insights related to operational performance.
- Maintain the general ledger ensuring accuracy and proper classification of transactions.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and information.
- Prepare and file relevant taxes such as VAT sales tax and other applicable local taxes.
- Keep updated on industryspecific tax requirements and regulations.
- Generate reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for the F&B or ice cream industry.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
35 years of experience as an accountant preferably within the F&B or ice cream industries.
Familiarity with inventory accounting cost control and industryspecific financial practices is highly desirable.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle).
Strong Excel skills for financial modeling analysis and reporting.
Understanding of GAAP or IFRS and tax regulations relevant to the F&B industry.
Strong attention to detail analytical mindset and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills in language both written and spoken.
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years in general accounting, with exposure to costing and budgeting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Strong business writing and communication skills in English. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage department responsibilities autonomously.
