Job Description
We are currently initiating a search for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our growing Water Resources Team. This candidate shall:
- Provide subject matter technical support and leadership for water and wastewater projects including water treatment plants water distribution systems wastewater treatment plants wastewater collection systems storm water collection systems and pumping stations in the public and private sector.
- Perform research planning concept development and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects including creating construction documents specifications and overseeing construction oversight/administration.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in civil Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline (Master s Degree is a plus).
- 15 years of relevant post education experience in engineering discipline and prior water/wastewater design experience.
- Professional Engineer license required in the State of Ohio (multistate a plus).
- Highly proficient with water/wastewater design engineering principles practices processes and their applications to project related issues.
- Extensive experience in water treatment plant water pumping and distribution systems wastewater treatment plant or wastewater collection and pumping systems planning design and program/construction management; including project involvement in upgrades rehabilitation/reconstruction new design and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant water or wastewater codes regulations compliance practices and recordkeeping requirements.
Benefits
