Create online media strategy and plan for UDST presence.
Overseeing the development and maintenance of UDST web presence, particularly the web site.
Developing and executing UDST social media strategy, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and any other relevant social media.
Developing and enhancing the Corporate Intranet and managing its administration on an on-going basis.
Maintain a full understanding of digital media topics, technology and functionality including but not limited to social media and Email.
Serves as UDST “online media expert,” remain updated with emerging trends, opportunities, and best practices. Regularly updates colleagues and management on these trends and makes recommendations for new activities.
Creating advertising campaigns for social media platforms including videos and monitoring day-to-day performance of those campaigns and the budgets for each campaign.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connection and encourages UDST audience to act.
Liaise with all business units to share information and identify up-to-date information and good news stories and accomplishments that can be communicated to strengthen brand positioning.
Monitor external digital news reports and escalate complex issues or negative press to the manager, communications to contribute towards maintenance and protection of the UDST public image.
Analyze and track the UDST website and other social media application user statistics and responses to external media to identify the trends of various marketing initiatives provide feedback to the manager, communications.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Content Creation and Management:
Create high-quality, engaging content for various digital channels, including websites, social media, email newsletters, and video platforms.
Develop digital assets like blog posts, social media graphics, videos, and infographics that align with the company’s branding and marketing objectives.
Manage and update website content using CMS tools, ensuring content is fresh, accurate, and optimized for SEO.
Digital Campaign Execution:
Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, particularly those focused on social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure digital content supports the overall marketing strategy and goals.
Implement and monitor campaigns across platforms like Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, or other paid media to drive engagement, traffic, or conversions.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Communications, or related field
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language required.
Experience in using digital media software for content creation, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.), Canva, and other editing or design tools.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or other web development platforms, is often required for content publishing.
Technical Competence:
Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Social Media Insights, and other digital marketing measurement tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) principles to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot, especially if the role involves crafting email campaigns.
Video editing skills are critical, with proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other professional video production tools.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or knowledge of UX/UI principles can be advantageous for managing websites or ensuring optimal user experience for digital content.
Creative and Visual Design:
Strong design skills with the ability to create visually appealing digital assets such as banners, infographics, GIFs, social media graphics, and videos.
Understanding of branding and the ability to maintain consistency across digital platforms in terms of visual identity and messaging.
A keen eye for design and detail with the ability to stay current with design trends and digital aesthetics.
Social Media and Content Strategy:
Experience in developing and executing social media strategies to build and maintain an online presence for a brand or organization.
Ability to create and schedule engaging content, manage social media accounts, and interact with online communities.
Knowledge of content calendars and scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
