Job Description
Position: Header Grinder
Location: Catoosa OK
Pay: $18/hr
Shift: Day Shift
Job Type: TemptoHire
Job Order #: 118007
Key Responsibilities
Grinding and Smoothing
- Grind and smooth surfaces of headers or header components.
- Use power tools to remove scratches laminated metal excess weld material and burrs.
- Chip or grind out pits or cracks as needed.
Material Handling
- Move headers consumables and/or fitters as required.
- Position workpieces using overhead or jib cranes.
- Remove machining chips from inside headers.
Equipment Maintenance
- Replace worn abrasive disks wheels and die grinder bits according to specifications.
- Operate industrial forklifts as needed for material handling.
Inspection and RecordKeeping
- Examine workpieces for surface defects.
- Maintain production records for parts and jobs as required by the Department Manager.
Workplace Skills and Abilities
- Ensure regular punctual attendance and ability to work onsite.
- Work cooperatively with team members managers and executive staff.
- Perform multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment and adapt to departmental needs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
