Structural Fitter/Welder
Pay:$24BOE
Hours:MondayFriday 5PM3AM

Test Type:2G Plate Mig & Flux Core
Location:Catoosa OK
Experience:Five years of structural fitting experience recommended
Job Description:
The Structural Fitter/Welder will be responsible for laying out fitting and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as heat exchangers. Responsibilities include:
- Selecting assembly plans and fitting components together manually or using overhead jib cranes.
- Performing simple mathematics to determine part dimensions accurately.
- Setting up welding machines and welding guns including assembling and disassembling welding tips and liners.
- Feeding wire and adjusting voltage using arc or gas shielded arc welding equipment.
- Proficiently reading blueprints and conducting first article inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 1 years of welding experience with a strong focus on structural fitting.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques particularly MIG and flux core.
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
