Our client was established in 1995 and has enjoyed many years of success with 17 butcheries around South Africa and 15 branches in the Gauteng region. The business continues to grow and we are looking for an experienced Telesales professionals to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Contact all existing clients daily as per call sheet given by the sales manager and process sales accordingly.
- Contact dormant customers and provide feedback to the sales manager as to why these customers no longer purchase from the company.
- Increase customer base by contacting new potential customers.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Provide efficient outstanding customer service.
- Manage incoming sales or general inquiries.
- Support Sales Representatives in meeting targets and expanding market presence.
- Maintain and update client databases.
- Manage and document back orders.
- Take proactive measures to minimize back orders.
- Monitor and address back order reports.
- Inform customers of stock shortages or any impediments to service delivery.
- Assist in resolving problems or addressing complaints.
- Respond to requests from internal stakeholders or departments.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent NQF.
- 35 years experience in a telesales environment.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Numerical aptitude.
- Proven sales acumen.
- Knowledge of telephonic etiquette.
- Selfmotivated with a drive for results.
- Effective planning organizing and time management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate within a team.
- Capable of handling pressure gracefully.
