Job Description
- Responsible for project management duties including design modeling development and drawing of a transmission line structure or system
- Provide technical oversight including managing the quality control process analyzing data to find discrepancies
- and identify solutions
- Assist with business development
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Administrative duties including developing/communicating/tracking workflows scheduling ensuring projects meeting quality standards and project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope/budget
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Master s degree in engineering a plus
- 8 years of engineering design experience in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 345Kv)
- 3 years of managing transmission line projects preferred
- Extensive knowledge of transmission steel structure design/analysis (substation preferred)
- Knowledge of applicable safety codes utility standards and regulations (NESC ASCE IEEE)
- Knowledge of PLSCADD preferred
- Knowledge of standard engineering design principals
