Job Description

Growing National firm looking to add a talented Senior Transmission Engineer to their Cleveland team!


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for project management duties including design modeling development and drawing of a transmission line structure or system
  • Provide technical oversight including managing the quality control process analyzing data to find discrepancies
  • and identify solutions
  • Assist with business development
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Administrative duties including developing/communicating/tracking workflows scheduling ensuring projects meeting quality standards and project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope/budget


Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Master s degree in engineering a plus
  • 8 years of engineering design experience in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 345Kv)
  • 3 years of managing transmission line projects preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of transmission steel structure design/analysis (substation preferred)
  • Knowledge of applicable safety codes utility standards and regulations (NESC ASCE IEEE)
  • Knowledge of PLSCADD preferred
  • Knowledge of standard engineering design principals
