Job Description
Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and highend manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Salary Range: RM4000RM7000
Key Responsibilities
Data Supervision
- Supervise daily data center operations including monitoring system performance data integrity and security protocols
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure proper data backup storage and retrieval procedures
- Oversee data quality control measures and implement data validation protocols
- Generate and analyze performance reports for data center operations
- Manage data center documentation and maintain standard operating procedures
- Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and security policies
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and system upgrades
- Supervise junior data center staff and provide technical guidance
Assistant to Deputy Director
- Manage Deputy Directors schedule appointments and meetings
- Prepare and review reports presentations and correspondence
- Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders
- Handle confidential information and maintain discretion
- Organize and maintain departmental files and records
- Take minutes in meetings and follow up on action items
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 35 years of experience in data center operations
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and operations
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
