Job Description
Job Title: Legal Advisor
Location: Gauteng
About the Role:
My client in the Medical aid industry seeks an experienced Legal Advisor to provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services. Reporting to the Line Manager you will assist in governance and oversee legal and compliance concerns to ensure regulatory alignment and integrity within my clients operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 LLB degree
- Certification: Admission as an attorney
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years postqualified experience in a legal advisory or compliance role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate timely and comprehensive legal advice and support across various departments.
- Assist the Line Manager with governance programs and compliance review processes.
- Interpret and analyze legislation relevant to the medical aid industry to support decisionmaking.
- Research and respond to complex legal queries with precision.
- Make sound quick decisions that align with my clients policies and objectives.

- High level of integrity objectivity and independence
- Strong legislative interpretation and research abilities
- Ability to work efficiently within set deadlines and plan effectively
- Excellent decisionmaking skills and a keen attention to compliance
