Job Description
Sales Engineer GM Account
Salary: $130k Bonus Car Allowance
Location: Remote (Michiganbased)
Are you an experienced Sales Engineer with a talent for building strong OEM relationships and solving complex technical challenges Join my clients team a leading Tier 1 supplier of stamped forged and extruded components. Were looking for a skilled individual to manage the GM account and drive growth in a competitive market.
What Youll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for GM building and nurturing relationships to ensure my client remains a preferred supplier.
- Develop and execute sales strategies identifying new opportunities within GMs portfolio.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering quality production) to meet customer expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and support solving engineering and production challenges to ensure program success.
- Anticipate and resolve any technical or productrelated issues acting as a problem solver for both the customer and internal teams.
- Forecast sales report performance and manage account budgets effectively.
What You Bring:
- Engineering qualification (degree or equivalent) with a strong technical understanding of stamping forging or extrusion processes.
- 3 years of experience managing automotive OEM accounts (GM experience highly preferred).
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with OEM customers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work remotely based in Michigan while managing multiple tasks and maintaining close customer relationships.
