Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare federal and multistate tax returns for businesses partnerships individuals notforprofit organizations and trusts.
- Prepare annual tax provisions and tax planning calculations for estimates and extensions.
- Research complex tax matters summarize results and propose resolutions.
- Monitor and communicate legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
- Supervise and train members of the tax team.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships.
- Respond to client inquiries and taxing authorities.
- Perform other accounting and tax duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) CCH ProSystem FX Axcess Tax and Caseware.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and analyze problems logically and comprehensively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients needs.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related major.
