Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Compliance:
- Understanding the business organization relevant industry regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Setting up and implementation of the compliance framework and identifying and raising gaps for remediation as needed.
- Create update and enforce companywide integrity and compliance policies and procedures.
- Establish a system for monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards.
- Establish controls and processes to prevent detect and report corrupt activities including bribery and unethical business practices.
- Oversee the development and implementation of compliance campaigns training sessions and communications throughout the Group.
- Develop compliance risk assessments as well as development and implementation of mitigation plans.
- Identify potential integrity and compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Work with internal audit to conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks.
- Provide support and expertise in governance including personal data protection and whistleblowing matters.
- Continually review and evaluate laws and regulations
Legal:
- Provide legal advise including contractual rights obligations and support on the Groups businesses and projects
- Vetting of contract documents before signoff
- Administration of dispute resolution processes involving customers contractors and suppliers
- Anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and project operations.
