Jobvous Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic client team. This is a fulltime permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting of the company. Your main duties will include preparing financial statements analyzing financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for managing a team of junior accountants and providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage monthend and yearend close processes
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Monitor and analyze budget variances
Provide guidance and support to junior accountants
Assist with audits and tax filings
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy
Experience in staffing or recruitment industry is a plus
