About the Role: Were on the hunt for a dynamic Structural Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll take ownership of innovative design engineering and support all aspects of the construction process. If youre passionate about structural engineering and have a proven track record of success in managing heavy civil projects we want to meet you!
Your Mission:
- Perform and/or review structural calculations develop plans and schedule tasks to meet client needs.
- Design and oversee bridge erection & demolition cofferdam design critical crane lifts and excavation support.
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure stability during the temporary condition of new bridges viaducts buildings tunnels and other structures.
- Evaluate existing structures for construction loads and/or demolition planning.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of the design deliverables.
- Identify design risks and assist with risk mitigation planning.
- Assist in project management including budgets schedules quality control and client communication.
- Provide onsite design engineering support onsite inspections and training and mentoring E.I.T.s.

- Structural engineering design and analysis.

What You Bring:
- Experience with temporary structures and/or construction engineering.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Masters degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
- 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer licensure (PE) or eligibility within the United States.
- Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD BlueBeam Civil 3D Finite Element Analysis Software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments.
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wideranging climates and environments.

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
