Job Description
- Respond to all guest and room attendant messages coming in from HotSos
- Ensure all guest elevator landings and service landings are clean.
- Restock room attendant closets as needed throughout the day.
- Collect dirty linen and trash from closets; continually throughout the day
- Keep service areas clean and free of debris to avoid any security mishaps
- Make sure that all closet doors are closed at all times
- Vacuum hallways when time becomes available throughout the shift
- Practice safe and secure methods of working
- Customer service oriented
- Shampoo guest rooms and clean shower heads as needed after 4pm.
- Clean P2 storage area; inside and outside
Typical Working Conditions:
- Change of temperature in guest rooms
- Possible exposure to mold in bathrooms
- Different scents in guest rooms
- Carrying both wet & dry linen; between 25lb and 50lbs
- Pushing and pulling cart filled with dry linen; up to 75 lbs.
- Being on your feet for a period of almost 8 hours
- Exposure to a variety of guests and behaviors
- Indoor/Outdoor
Equipment Used:
- Apple/Android Device used to control Guest and room attendant messages and report housekeeping needs or maintenance issues
- Vacuum cleaner
- Cleaning chemicals rags duster gloves
- Master keys
- Linen carts
- Shampoo machine & extractor deodorizer machine
- Glass washing machine
- Dolly
Qualifications :
- Detail oriented & organized
- Able to communicate in English
- Be able to work in a team
- Knowledge of Android/ Apple technology
- Work well in fast pace environment
- Ability to clean room
- Basic knowledge of safety and security rules
- Able to work under pressure when challenged by both guest and ambassador requests
