Pullman Auckland is looking for a talented and a passionate Senior Front Office Team Leader wishing to expand their knowledge in a luxury hotel environment. You will enjoy looking after our guests and working as part of a fun talented & passionate team that is all about creating memorable experiences..
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Assisting with leading the Front Office team to ensure Pullman Service Standards are displayed at all times.
- Coaching the team to ensure that every member is confident in providing valuable insider information about tourist attractions and restaurants to hotel guests
- Establish ongoing On the Job Training within the department to meet brand and service essentials using department procedure manuals as a base for all service procedures and training.
- Assisting in recruitment activities seeking staff who are passionate and have a natural inclination towards customer focused service.
- Drive upsells as part of Hotel revenue management culture
- Ensure AccorHotels guest loyalty and recognition program is maintained and delivered to its highest standards.
- Motivate and empower team members to problem solve and surprise our guests with novelty.
Qualifications :
Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements you also have:
- Previous Front Office experience is essential as well as a proven track record of managing and motivating a team
- Knowledge of Opera advantageous
- Exposure in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment
- Ability to remain calm and diplomatic when under pressure providing flexible solutions throughout
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- Be a skilled negotiator to resolve a range of guest and employee concerns
- Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication both verbal &written
- Leadership capability
