Job Description

Be an ambassador for an exceptional guest experience as Reception Supervisor where your passion for service will inspire your team and make our Owners and Guests feel valued.

Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Front Office Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
  • Lead and supervise the Reception/Transportation team while ensuring all service standards are followed
  • Handle Owner/Guest concerns and react quickly logging and notifying proper departments
  • Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings
  • Assign tasks according to daily workflow
  • Balance operational administrative and Colleague needs
  • Assist Owners and Guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Coordinate arrival and departure schedules for Owners and Guests
  • Coordinate daily transportation needs
  • Manager on duty responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow department policies procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Valid Drivers License in good standing required
  • Previous experience in guest services department preferred
  • Previous Property Management System experience preferred
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent kneeling pushing pulling lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
